Congrats on being engaged! I sincerely wish you all the happiness with your chosen life partner. You landed on this page because you are probably trying to decide on eloping or having a traditional wedding (or you are like me and just love to look at pretty elopement photos!) Now that you have had 5 minutes to be engaged, have you set the date yet? What about a venue? You know they fill up fast, especially post COVID. Booked your makeup + hair? What about wedding favors? Have you both picked out your wedding day clothes?

Aren't these questions just the best? I remember being asked all of these and more within the first 7-10 days of being engaged. Are you feeling overwhelmed? I sure was!

Somewhere along the line you've considered eloping instead. But you aren't sure if eloping is right for you + your partner. Know that you're not alone. I have had multiple conversations with previous brides (both elopement and traditional brides) that have revolved around that exact question.

So here is what I have come up with below - a sort of checklist if you will.

• Do you like being the center of attention?

• Do you like planning big events?

• Are you a detail-oriented person?

• Do the details of a wedding matter to you?

• Do you want to say your vows in front of a large group of people?

• Does the idea of spending a lot of money on a big wedding excite you?

• Do you love to travel or explore?

Eloping is ALL about you + your partner. The day begins when you want + how you want. You love some aspects of a traditional wedding but not all of them so we customize your elopement to include those aspects. For example, some couples choose to forgo the wedding cake for their elopement but still want florals and a fancy dinner. There is no wrong answer here, that's the magic!
