Jessie and Adam say “I Do” at the Glass Factory in Jacksonville, Florida

Just last week these two tied the knot at Jacksonville’s The Glass Factory! It was a day filled with the most mindful intentions, sweetest friends and loving embraces. The joy in the room was a beautiful and warm as a summer’s day.

FUN FACT- Jessie and Adam lived a block away from each other and never knew it until they matched on Hinge! I mean how crazy is that! In a place like NYC you would have to believe they crossed paths at LEAST once since they both lived a block from each other. That’s how the universe works, right…? Since that day they have lived in multiple states for different jobs ( Jessie is in the performance world + Adam is in the financial world) and recently they adopted an abandoned kitten they’ve named “Guillermo”. How cute is that?

Jacksonville’s The Glass Factory is one of my favorite venues! I was so excited for their wedding as it was my first time at this venue. I have always been a fan of industrial spaces with natural light. The building was previously a factory that made, you guessed it, GLASS. It has beautiful getting ready spaces for you + your partner. They are large enough to accommodate your wedding parties as well. Not to mention there is SO much natural lighting (a photographer’s dream!). The large glass windows, exposed piping and cement floors are part of it’s charm.

I love venues that are all in one, meaning everything is in one place. With the Glass Factory, the wedding parties have rooms to get ready in, your ceremony and reception is in the main space, as well as cocktail hour! There is SO much space in this venue! We can accommodate up to 900 guests for a cocktail party and 500 for a sit-down dinner with room for a dance floor” (Glass Factory website). You won’t have trouble bringing all of your friends and family here! Having everything all in one place makes the environment stress free!!

The Glass Factory gave us space and the perfect aesthetic to capture wedding portraits, wedding party photos and more. There is also a brewery (Myrtle Ave Brewery) next door that gave us the perfect backdrop for portraits of the wedding party. They even had a Beer Garden we could use. The venue’s vibe really lent itself to this couple and who they are. Jessie and Adam wanted a moody industrial eclectic aesthetic! Check out the photos on this blog and on my portfolio page, — I’d say it delivered, wouldn’t you?

From Jessie : “Our wedding day was perfect. Just perfect. I married the man of my dreams in front of the people I love most. The entire day was bubbling with joy and love. I couldn’t be more grateful for the culmination of the hard work of my vendors, spouse, family, and friends. Mitra, especially, went above and beyond a usual photographer’s duties. She was helpful in all aspects: from making sure I had what I needed, to being emotional support when I felt stressed, being a reassuring smiling presence, and never missed a moment I wanted to capture. I’m so lucky to have found her. My life changed the day I met Adam, but our wedding day felt like the perfect beginning to our happily ever after.”

I love hearing your stories. Meeting your families and friends. I want to learn who you —and — your partner are both as individuals and as unit. I don’t forget them at the end of the night, I carry you all with me. As a person who specializes in human connections through editorial weddings and elopements — your love story is important to me. Telling it authentically and beautifully is my priority.
