Wedding on a Budget

You have heard the phrase, "Ballin' on a budget" right? It was one of my favorite sayings years ago when I was in my 20's and raising my daughter. I had to figure out how to achieve the aesthetics I was used to (and let's be honest, WANTED) in our lives on a much tighter budget. I am here to tell you, folks, it can be done. If you can manage your everyday life on a budget what makes you think you can't plan a wedding on a budget? You 100% can!

Take this wedding for example...

Elegant Budget Bride for Orlando Wedding - Orlando Wedding Photographer

The dress was from Lulus and there was a 25% off coupon code for a grand total of $68

The earrings were the cutest, also from Lulus, and came in at a whopping $12

The bouquet was also on budget at $65 by The Fancy Florals

Parking around the courthouse is usually $10

The shoes were ones that the Bride already owned.

The Bride did her own hair + makeup which is also a big saver in costs.

The Groom's outfit was composed of a suit/shoes + tie he already owned.

The fee for the marriage license was $86 but can be reduced if you have taken some pre-marital classes. The courthouse will make you wait 3 days before you can get married but once you have waited the required 3 days you are able to make an appointment and pay the $30 fee for the marriage ceremony. Please also note, if you are paying with a credit card they will charge you a $3.50 transaction fee.

Can you imagine spending less than $300 to get married? I know quite a few people who have done this. Of course, this doesn't include the costs of photography or videography. If that's something you are looking to do you would add those vendors into the costs of the Elopement.
