The Splendor of The Oberoi

When you enter the grounds of the Oberoi, you can’t help but feel like you’ve been whisked away to an ancient and exotic tale of old. The austere and bold architecture can feel intimidating at first, but the intricate details and craftsmanship of the carvings on the walls and the arches and the long hallways—are so spellbinding, you won’t notice that it beckons you into the fold.

The Oberoi, Marrakech

You can really lose yourself on the vast grounds that stretch across an astounding 1,130,312 square meters of land. The sweet fragrance of the citrus orchards will have you dizzy with delight; and you can’t help but frolic amongst the enchanting “centuries-old” olive groves… You’ll feel so small as you find that the Oberoi is nestled like a baby at the foot of the majestic Atlas Mountains.

A wedding here would be a most luxurious affair. With the Oberoi set as the backdrop to your event, you just couldn’t ask for anything more stunning. I was so fortunate to have gotten to capture all of the beautiful details of this setup. I love the sophisticated look of these long tables for the reception, and the bouquets that dance all the way down the center. The larger-than-life floral installations were also captivating. Everything about this day just exuded elegance.

As if the phenomenal experience of being at the Oberoi wasn’t enough, the variety of activities that the resort has on offer are exciting for the adventurous at heart. From private helicopter tours with camel-riding in the desert, to floating over the Atlas Mountains in a hot air balloon. For more down to earth (or down on earth?) options, you’ve got cardio boxing, tennis, and sunrise yoga—to name a few.

I hope this little peek into this slice of paradise is enough to convince you how magical this place is and makes you feel. I don’t have all the words to express it, so you’ll just have to add this place to your bucket list and experience the wonder for yourself!
